Scenic Overview:

Tangmuyuan Hot Spring is situated on the prime route between Suichang's Nanjianyan and the Gold Mine Scenic Area, 22 kilometers from the county town, located in Datian Village, Dazhe Town — the heart of southern Zhejiang’s “Golden Mountain.” It is Asia’s first hot spring built within a forest. Towering ancient trees, a sea of green shade, misty clouds, and a spring-like climate all year create an enchanting atmosphere. Lush tea gardens covering hundreds of acres thrive above, while a gently flowing crescent-shaped stream meanders below. The park features 49 hot spring experience pools, including fish therapy pools, herbal pools, multi-functional spa pools, and a 1,000-square-meter indoor hot spring pool. The water is rich in over 30 trace elements and minerals essential to the human body, and the forest boasts negative oxygen ion levels far exceeding national standards. The hot spring water of “Tangmuyuan” originates at the foot of the Golden Mountain. The water is 100% natural, high-quality metasilicic acid spring water, rich in various trace elements such as sodium, potassium, calcium, iron, and zinc — a rare premium rock-layer spring. This hot spring is supplied by two professional deep well pumps that transport natural geothermal water to the central pump room. The initial well water temperature is 38°C with a flow rate of over 30 tons per hour. After a pipeline distance of 190 meters, during which some heat is lost, the temperature drops to around 32°C. It is then heated to the optimal temperature for human use by high-tech water-source heat pumps before flowing into the pools for visitors. In addition, the abundant trace elements and minerals in the hot spring are paired with treatments such as fish therapy and medicinal therapy. Being set within a broadleaf forest over 150 years old, the area enjoys ample negative air ions — nature’s “vitamin.” Regular soaking in the hot springs and “forest bathing” offer benefits such as body slimming, skin beautification, blood circulation improvement, and overall health enhancement.
