Wangcunkou Red Ancient Town (Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Wangcunkou Memorial Hall) is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

Wangcunkou Ancient Town is located in the southwestern part of Suichang County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province. It lies at the eastern foot of Jiulong Mountain, a national nature reserve, bordering Dushan Village, a provincial-level historical and cultural preservation area, to the north. To the east are the scenic spots Nanjianyan and Shenlong Valley, while to the south it leans against towering mountains and to the west it faces the Wuxi River. The Guanchuan Stream runs from east to west through the town and joins the Wuxi River here.

Red Resources

Rich in red tourism resources, multiple revolutionary sites have been designated as provincial, municipal, and county-level patriotic education bases and cultural heritage protection units. Well-preserved historical and revolutionary sites include the Qing Dynasty-era ancient buildings such as Tianhou Palace, Hongji Bridge, Caixiang Temple, the former headquarters of the Advance Division, as well as the ancient Qing Dynasty street.

Wangcunkou Town: Located at the foot of Jiulong Mountain Nature Reserve, southwest of Suichang County, Wangcunkou Town borders Ankou Township and Shilian Town to the east, Longyang Township to the south, Caiyuan Township to the west, and Jiaotan Township to the north. The town government is headquartered in Qiaodong Village, 50 kilometers from the county seat. In 1992, following district dissolution, town expansion, and township mergers, Guanchuan and Duizheng Townships were incorporated into Wangcunkou Town, covering a total area of 165 square kilometers, including 481 hectares of arable land and 15,425 hectares of forested land.
