Starting and ending points: Taoyuan Natural Village in Suichang County – Taoyuanjian in Suichang – Liuchunhu in Longyou County – Dalu Village in Qujiang District.

Total length: 18 kilometers

Overview and main features: From Dalu to Liuchunhu, the area is covered in dense forests, rugged peaks, deep valleys, and flowing streams. It features a combination of dramatic peak landscapes, serene canyons and rivers, as well as natural forest scenery. Mountains, woods, streams, springs, waterfalls, pools, clouds, and mist all create a unique spectacle, forming a landscape that embodies the beauty of danger, grandeur, wonder, elegance, charm, and serenity. The section from Liuchunhu to Taoyuanjian lies along a mountain ridge at an altitude of 1,100 to 1,400 meters, stretching over 10 kilometers from east to west along the mountain range. Starting from around 1,200 meters above sea level, azaleas begin to appear not just sporadically but in large patches, and as you go higher, you’ll find yourself in an ocean of azaleas. The flowers are predominantly bright red, interspersed with the occasional purple azalea as well as other alpine blooms in white and yellow. Due to the high altitude and temperature variations, the blossoms bloom later, typically around May Day, and the entire flowering season lasts about a month, presenting a stunning scenic view.
