Wong Tai Sin's Tomb

Wong Tai Sin's Tomb is a cultural tourism attraction.

Wong Tai Sin's Tomb is located west of the bridge in Erxianqiao Village, Xianqiao Town. Inside the "Ancient Erxian Shrine," Erxianqiao Village is traversed by Chisong Stream, with the area east of the stream called Xidong Village and the west called Xixi Village. To facilitate travel between villagers, a wooden bridge was built in the village. Legend has it that it was frequently washed away by a vicious dragon in the stream, preventing normal passage between the communities on either side of Chisong Stream. Brothers Huang Chuiping and Huang Chuping eliminated the threat for the people, slew the vicious dragon, and built a sturdy stone bridge. People then named this bridge "Erxian Bridge." Later, the village took its name from the bridge. After the brothers of Wong Tai Sin passed away and ascended to heaven on Chisong Mountain, their two "immortal bodies" were washed by floods to Erxian Bridge and lodged against its piers. The local people, in gratitude for the blessings the two emperors had bestowed, built the "Two Emperors Shrine" and enshrined the two immortal bodies within. It was later renamed the "Ancient Erxian Shrine."
