Jinhua Peach Blossom Spring

The Peach Blossom Spring Provincial Tourist Area is located in Yuandong Township in the northeast of Jindong District, approximately 28 kilometers from downtown Jinhua. It consists of southern and northern sections, covering a total area of 3.78 square kilometers.

The Peach Blossom Spring Tourist Area boasts a superior geographical location, with the Jinyi Highway running along its southern edge. The terrain is higher in the north and lower in the south, and the area enjoys a warm and humid climate that is mild in winter and cool in summer, with an average annual temperature of 16°C and annual rainfall of around 1,400 millimeters. The tourist area is renowned both at home and abroad for its vast peach orchards and as the hometown of Shi Guangnan.

The Peach Blossom Spring Tourist Area is characterized by its “seclusion, beauty, antiquity, and mystique.” The area features uniquely shaped and strikingly diverse rocks; lush forests exuding fragrant blooms; numerous lakes and ponds that shimmer with reflected light; and a wealth of cultural and historical sites, along with legendary tales and myths. It serves as a multifunctional tourist destination integrating landscape sightseeing, leisure and recreation, orchard fruit tasting, and commemorative visits.
