Xiaoshun Chenghuang Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Xiaoshun Chenghuang Temple is a county-level key cultural relics protection unit. Located in Xiastreet Village, Xiaoshun Town, Jindong District, it faces south and was originally a three-courtyard, three-bay structure. The current building was renovated in the 10th year of the Jiaqing reign during the Qing Dynasty. It has a total width of 12 meters and a depth of 23.9 meters. The central bay of the first courtyard features a post-and-lintel construction, while the side bays use a through-tenon style, with eight rafters and seven steps. The central bay’s moon beam is adorned with a two-tiered bracket set, and the second courtyard has nine purlins and eight steps, with a flush gable roof. The beams, columns, bracket arms (niudui), and spandrels (que ti) are all carved with various floral patterns, exquisitely ornate, giving the entire structure a solemn and majestic appearance. In China’s feudal dynasties, Chenghuang Temples were generally only established in county towns, so the Xiaoshun Chenghuang Temple, located in a township, is unique and carries distinctive cultural significance, holding certain value for cultural relics preservation and historical research.
