Putang Wang Clan Ancestral Hall

The Putang Wang Clan Ancestral Hall is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Jinhua City.

The Putang Wang Clan Ancestral Hall is located in Lipu Town, Jindong District, Jinhua City. It was first built in the year of Dinghai during the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1527), bearing witness to the historical changes of Putang. The hall displays portraits of three founding ancestors of the Wang clan and 18 inscribed eulogies of ancestral figures, with over 50 prominent plaques hanging in the central hall.

On January 7, 2011, it was announced as part of the sixth batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units.

Since the village renovation began in 2007, the appearance of Putang Village has undergone tremendous changes. In 2007, our village invested over 4 million yuan in village renovation efforts. All 630 households across 34 production groups had their walls plastered, and all were connected to cement roads. A sanitation and cleaning team was also established to ensure the proper collection of household waste and maintain a clean and tidy village environment. In 2008, sewage treatment projects were carried out, resulting in unobstructed channels, clear pond water, and green, beautiful pond banks.
