Xiaoshun Town: Xiaoshun Town in Jindong District, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, is a town with a history of over a thousand years. In the fourth year of the Wude era of the Tang Dynasty (621 AD), it was established as Changshan County, with the county seat located in Xiaoshun. It has a history of more than 1,380 years. During the Xiantong era of Emperor Yizong of the Tang Dynasty, it was called Xiaoshun Township; during the Northern Song Dynasty, a military garrison was stationed here and it was named Xiaoshun Town. In the Yuan Dynasty, a post station was built here, also known as Xiaoshun Post. During the Ming Dynasty’s Wanli era, it was referred to as Xiaoshun Market, and in the Qing Dynasty, it was called Xiaoshun Street. Xiaoshun has a long history and has always been a key transportation hub and a prosperous commercial center through the ages. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, in December 1949, the Xiaoshun Township People’s Government was established, under the jurisdiction of the Xiaoshun District Office of Jinhua County.
