Suzhou Baiyangwan Ecological Park, also known as the "Water Town in Dreams," is a large open wetland park covering an area of 25 hectares. The park is located in the southeast of Jinchang New Town, specifically bordered by National Highway 312 (Chengbei West Road) to the north, adjacent to the Tiger Hill Scenic Area to the east, connected to the Baiyangwan waterway to the south, and neighboring the southern residential area of Jinchang New Town to the west; the roads around the park include Chengbei West Road to the north, Hufu North Road to the south, and it connects to the Suzhou-Yushu-Zhangjiagang Expressway to the east.

The entire park is divided into five zones: urban gardens, water recreation, sports activities, performance stages, and waterfront landscape belts. Among them, the performance stage is a waterside stage featuring musical light fountains and a water screen movie. The park emphasizes water features, with water surfaces accounting for 44% of the total park area. Additionally, due to its proximity to the Tiger Hill Scenic Area, the park also incorporates views of Tiger Hill. It is said that from the performance area of the park, visitors can clearly see the Tiger Hill Pagoda in the distance. Moreover, during the design process, to ensure timely handling of various emergencies, the park will feature a 5 to 6-meter-wide ring road around the entire park to allow rescue vehicles to quickly reach any location within the park.

The entire park is divided into six major functional areas: the main entrance square area, urban garden area, water recreation area, performance stage area, sports activity area, and waterfront landscape belt. As the largest comprehensive park in urban Suzhou, the completed Baiyangwan Ecological Park will become a beautiful new landmark in Jinchang District and will also provide residents in the northwest of the city with a leisure, entertainment, and recreational venue.
