Major buildings include the Red Building, the auditorium (Jingxian Hall), Chongyuan Building, Tongyun Building (now renamed Fengming Building), Lübo Building (now renamed Green Building), as well as auxiliary structures such as the guardhouse (now the Reader Service Department) and Houde Pavilion (now Taoran Pavilion), all of which remain well-preserved.

Jinghai Women's Normal School was an early representative of modern new-style education in China. Renowned educators such as Zhao Jishi, Yang Yinshu, Wang Jiuyu, and Wu Yifang once taught or studied here, nurturing a group of outstanding talents for modern China and exerting a profound influence on the development of education in China, making it of significant historical and social value.

Although Jinghai Women's Normal School in Suzhou no longer exists today, its buildings have been well-preserved and continue to serve their original function as educational facilities. They are now part of Soochow University, including the Red Building, Green Building, teaching buildings, and the auditorium. The former women’s dormitories of the school are now called “Chongyuan Building,” and the auditorium is now known as “Jingxian Hall.”

In 2004, the former site of Jinghai Women's Normal School was designated as a municipal cultural heritage site by the Suzhou Municipal Government. In March 2019, it was listed as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites in Jiangsu Province by the provincial government.
