The former site of Taowu Primary School is located at No. 34 Shichuang Lane, Gusu District, dating back to the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China period.
On August 23, 2019, the former site of Taowu Primary School was designated as part of the eighth batch of cultural heritage protection units in Suzhou.
