The China Post Stamps Museum • Zodiac Stamps Branch, also known as the Suzhou Zodiac Stamps Museum, is located on Xiyilu, Yuhantang—the former residence of Wu Yipeng, Minister of Personnel during the Ming Dynasty—in the Shantang Historic and Cultural Preservation District of Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. The museum spans 660 square meters in total, with 550 square meters dedicated to exhibitions. It houses a comprehensive collection of zodiac stamps and related philatelic items issued by over 100 countries and regions across all five continents since 1950, making it a specialized museum for the collection, display, and utilization of zodiac stamps, as well as for the research, promotion, and study of zodiac culture and zodiac-themed philately.

This museum is the world’s first thematic museum dedicated exclusively to zodiac stamps, and the first specialized branch of the China Post Stamps Museum. Based on the zodiac philatelic collection donated by Mr. Zhou Zhihua, a Fellow of the All-China Philatelic Federation, it was included in the “Museum City” initiative under Suzhou’s 12th Five-Year Plan for cultural development. The museum is hosted by the People’s Government of Gusu District, Suzhou, supervised by the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Press and Publication, guided by the Suzhou Post Office, and officially opened on May 18, 2013 (International Museum Day).
