Shuangju Site

The Shuangju Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jiangsu Province.

The Shuangju Site is located to the south of Shuangju Village, Xiaji Town, Baoying County. In 2006 and 2008, the Yangzhou Archaeological Team and Baoying Museum conducted two archaeological surveys. The earliest artifacts discovered include pottery shards from the Shang and Zhou dynasties, as well as ceramic pieces from the Tang, Song, Ming, and Qing dynasties, indicating a culturally rich stratum. The discovery of this site is of great significance for studying human activity traces in the Jianghuai region at that time.

Protected Area: North to the southern embankment of the Shuangju River, south to Fenghuanggou; west to Fenghuanggou, east to Fenghuanggou.

Buffer Zone: North to the northern embankment of the Shuangju River, south to the southern embankment of Fenghuanggou; west to 120 meters west of Fenghuanggou, east to the eastern embankment of Fenghuanggou.
