Longchi Mountain Bicycle Park

Yixing Longchi Mountain Bicycle Park is situated within the Yangxian Tea Industrial Park in Zhangzhu Town, Yixing City. Spanning from the entrance of Yixing Forest Farm in the northeast to Chengguang Temple on Longchi Mountain in the southwest, the park covers an overall area of about 6.33 square kilometers. Built in April 2012 and opened in March 2013, the park is designed to promote low-carbon travel, a leisurely lifestyle, and the integration of public fitness activities with sightseeing. Making full use of existing ecological tourism resources such as tea plantations, bamboo forests, and reservoirs, it has been developed into a bicycle-themed fitness park that combines cycling, mountain scenery, and the culture of Yangxian tea.

The park’s landscape features “One Route, Two Zones, and Eighteen Scenic Spots.” The “One Route” refers to the greenway (a dedicated bicycle path), which stretches approximately 12 kilometers in length and is 3 to 5 meters wide. It serves as the pilot section of the 245-kilometer greenway network in southern Yixing. The “Two Zones” are the service areas at the Forest Farm and Longchi Mountain, both equipped with comprehensive facilities including bicycle rental, parking, showers, as well as sales of sports equipment and souvenirs. The park carefully connects scenic spots along the greenway to form the “Eighteen Leisurely Sights of Longchi Mountain,” namely: Bamboo Grove Path, Three Pools Reflecting Blue, Leichi Green View, Flower Valley Exploration, Verdant Bamboo Homestead, Tranquil Garden Flavors, Royal Garden Tea Quest, Mirror Lake Cloud Shadows, Tea Rhyme and Pine Waves, Fragrant Tea Mountain Room, Tea Isle Layered Greens, Sassafras Spring Blossoms, Countryside Bloom, Jinjia Farmhouse, Azure Water Floral Dike, Lakeside Cooking Songs, Longchi Misty Rain, and Chengguang Buddhist Chant.

Yixing Longchi Mountain Bicycle Park is open year-round and welcomes visitors in all seasons. In addition to hosting cycling events, it is set to become a great leisure destination for residents and tourists in Jiangsu to relax, unwind, and stay fit—serving as a new, distinctive premium leisure and tourism spot in southern Yixing.
