Huanglong Mountain East Slope Kiln Site

The Huanglong Mountain East Slope Kiln Site is a cultural heritage conservation unit of Yixing City.

The Huanglong Mountain East Slope Kiln Site is located in Pannan Community, Dingshu Town (formerly Taixi Village). To the east lies the Yangjiao Mountain Site, a Song Dynasty purple clay kiln site excavated in the 1970s. To the west is the Huanglong Mountain purple clay clay mine. To the south, across the peak of Yangjiao Mountain, is the former Ming Dynasty purple clay clay mine, now known as Dashuitan. To the north is Taixi Village. In May 2009, the Yixing Municipal People's Government designated it as a municipal-level cultural heritage conservation unit.

There are three identifiable kilns at the Huanglong Mountain East Slope Kiln Site, though their exact founding periods remain unknown. The accumulated area of the kiln remains is approximately 3,400 square meters. The accumulation near the northeast side of the village has been severely damaged, with over ten residential houses built upon it. Based on the distribution of the kiln sites, they are named from south to north as Kiln No. 1, Kiln No. 2, and Kiln No. 3. Kiln No. 1: Oriented in an east-west direction (20° northwest of north), with the rear facing east. It is located 60 meters south of the GPS center point.
