Yongsi Bridge

Yongsi Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Yixing.

Yongsi Bridge is located in Linjia Natural Village, Luping Village, Xinjie Subdistrict. In May 2009, it was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site by the Yixing Municipal People's Government.

Yongsi Bridge is a single-arch stone bridge constructed of bluestone, oriented east-west (with an east-southeast deviation of 12°). The bridge has a total length of 15.90 meters, a central width of 3 meters, a clear span of 4.40 meters, and a height of 2.80 meters. The bridge abutments are 3.75 meters wide, the pillow stones are 0.35 meters thick, with a spacing of 3.60 meters between them and 4.20 meters externally. The slope is 12°. The bridge has been overlaid with cement and fenced with concrete railings.

Environmental Science and Technology Park (Xinjie Subdistrict): In 2007, Xinjie Town was abolished, and its former jurisdictional area was merged with two neighborhood committees—Lüyuan and Wenchang—managed by Yicheng Subdistrict, along with five village committees: Nanhé, Tongfēng, Nányuè, Méi, and Xièqiáo, to form Xinjie Subdistrict.
