Zhou Tie Chenghuang Temple is a cultural relics protection unit of Yixing City.

Zhou Tie Chenghuang Temple is located at the Chenghuang Temple on North Street in Zhou Tie Town. In May 2009, it was designated as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit by the Yixing Municipal People's Government.

Zhou Tie Chenghuang Temple is situated west of Hengtang River and east of North Street, facing south (15° west of due south). Built during the Qing Dynasty, it has two courtyards. The first courtyard building is three bays wide, measuring 10.70 meters in width and 13.30 meters in depth. In the front yard of the first courtyard stands a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree. The second courtyard is a two-story building with a depth of 7.40 meters, featuring finely carved eaves. The patio between the first and second courtyards is 4.50 meters deep. The overall structure of the building remains largely intact. Inside the first courtyard building, there are two ancient stone steles. The western stele is inscribed with “Stele for the Reconstruction of Chenghuang Temple.” Its inscription dates it to the 28th year of the Daoguang reign (1848), early summer. The stele is 2 meters tall and 0.86 meters wide, with a base 1 meter wide. The inscription on the eastern stele is blurred and hard to discern. This stele is 1.84 meters tall and 0.70 meters wide, and is inscribed with the date of the 15th year of the Qianlong reign (1748).

It is close to Suzhou, Wuxi, and Changzhou, and lies west of the Suyi Expressway, just an hour and a half’s drive to Shanghai, Nanjing, and Hangzhou. The town covers a total area of 73.2 square kilometers, with a population of 58,800. It administers 14 village committees and 2 neighborhood committees, and is home to more than 400 industrial enterprises.
