Shidang Bridge

Shidang Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Yixing City.

Shidang Bridge, located in Shidang Village, Dapu, Dingshu Town, Yixing City, was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site by the Yixing Municipal People's Government in November 1996.

Shidang Bridge is a single-arch stone bridge, with the existing structure dating back to the Qing Dynasty. The bridge runs east-west and features 23 stone steps on each side. It is built with bluestone blocks, while the bridge deck steps are made of granite. The bridge is 19.90 meters long, 3.33 meters wide at the center, and 4.05 meters wide at the approaches. The clear span of the arch is 6.75 meters, with a rise of 4.65 meters. The upper part of the current bridge deck is fitted with a concrete flat bridge.
