Zhenlong Bridge

Zhenlong Bridge is located about 100 meters north of Zhenlong Village, Yangxiang Town, Yixing City. In March 2003, it was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site by the Yixing Municipal People's Government.

Zhenlong Bridge was built during the Qing Dynasty as a single-arch stone bridge, oriented from north to south (40° east of due south), with 21 stone steps on each side. It is constructed of bluestone. The bridge is 20.63 meters long, with a deck length of 1.65 meters, a central width of 3.10 meters, and an abutment width of 3.90 meters. The clear span of the arch is 6 meters, with a rise of 3.88 meters. The southern slope is 9.20 meters long, the southern abutment is 4.30 meters wide, the flat abutment is 4.70 meters long, the bearing stone is 3.65 meters long and 0.30 meters wide, with a spacing of 4.10 meters between stones. The slope has a gradient of 14°.
