Dingwan River Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.

Dingwan River Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Gulou District, Xuzhou City, built along the Dingwan River. The scenic area covers an area of 3.5 square kilometers, including 1.26 square kilometers of water area, and is classified as an urban river-lake type water conservancy scenic area.

The Dingwan River connects to the Old Yellow River in the west and links to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the east, stretching 12.5 kilometers in total. It is an important flood diversion channel for the Old Yellow River, safeguarding the flood control safety of Xuzhou's urban area. In recent years, through the implementation of the Dingwan River Water Environment Comprehensive Management Project, a series of measures such as pollution control, river dredging, ecological revetment treatment, slope greening, and sewage pipeline installation have significantly improved the river’s water environment. Cultural landscapes such as the Water Governance Sages exhibition, Folk Custom Appreciation area, and the Dingwan River Water Museum have further enhanced the scenic area’s quality and cultural richness. What was once a heavily polluted "dragon beard ditch" has now been transformed into a beautiful scenic river.
