As one of the largest tourism projects introduced in the Lian Island Resort Area in recent years, Lianyungang Ocean World is the only aquarium along the coast of Jiangsu Province, a science education base in Jiangsu, and the aquarium in China with the largest variety of live coral displays.

At the end of the Lianyungang Ocean World aquarium, there is also an underwater tunnel area where visitors can enjoy the sight of fish playing overhead and all around them, as well as sharks swimming freely, creating the sensation of strolling deep in the ocean.
