Donglei Immortal Cave

There are many caves on the mountains of Donglei, the largest of which is located above Yanfu Temple and is called the Immortal Cave. Below the cave is a crevice about 3–4 meters deep, 6–7 meters long, and approximately 2 meters wide, which can accommodate dozens of people. Entering in the height of summer, one is met with a bone-chilling cold that instantly dispels the summer heat. Inside the cave is another small chamber, pitch dark even with an outstretched hand, which no one dared to enter in the past. In recent years, more adventurers have ventured inside and discovered there are seven chambers and eight caves, all interconnected, with strange rocks jutting across and a faint mist lingering. Inside the cave, explorers sometimes crawl through narrow fissures, catching glimpses of a sliver of sky above, and at other times suddenly find themselves in near-total darkness, forced to feel their way forward. Eventually, they can exit the cave through a different entrance farther away.
