They are carved within a shallow niche, 1.3 meters high and 0.8 meters wide, on a rock face by a stream. The inscribed content is a five-character poem, with characters about 10 cm in size, written in regular script. The poem expresses the sentiment of retiring to the mountains and shunning fame. — Inscribed and written by [author’s name], with two seals affixed, though the inscriptions on the seals are blurred. The cliff inscriptions on Lyu Duan Mountain, together with the Longtan Stream Inscriptions and the Longtan Inscriptions, form a mutually complementary group, and are an important cultural landmark in the Huangwo Scenic Area.
