Cliff Inscription "Dragon Pool" on Lvduan Mountain (Republic of China Era)
The cliff inscription "Dragon Pool" on Lvduan Mountain is located upstream of the Dragon Pool Stream in Huangwo, on the western side of Huangwo Reservoir, on Lvduan Mountain in Huangwo Village, Gaogongdao Subdistrict. The inscription is carved on the eastern stone wall of the Dragon Pool Stream on Lvduan Mountain, featuring the two characters "龙潭" ("Dragon Pool") in a bold, plump style, with each character measuring approximately 40 centimeters in size, written in regular script. The Dragon Pool Stream originates from Dalongding, flows from west to east, and cascades down past the Dragon Pool. This stream is also known as the Black Dragon Stream. Originally, there were the Upper Dragon Pool and the Second Dragon Pool; however, the Second Dragon Pool was submerged during the expansion of Huangwo Reservoir in 1942. The remaining pool is the Upper Dragon Pool. It is now a cultural landscape within the Huangwo Scenic Area.
