Houyi Cultural Park

Houyi Cultural Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

A national AA-level scenic spot, located northwest of Jinyang Bridge in Hede Town. Covering nearly 40 hectares with a total investment of over 50 million yuan, the park broke ground in early 2004 and opened to visitors on May 10, 2005. Established based on the origin of the name “Sheyang” County and the cultural legend of “Houyi Shooting the Suns,” the park features cultural landscapes themed around “Houyi Shooting the Suns,” as well as leisure and entertainment facilities including a fishing center, water cruises, sightseeing vehicles, a children’s square, an elegant tea house, and a cultural island. It was successfully rated as a national AA-level tourist attraction in 2009.
