Located in the river, Changqingsha, Hongbeisha, and Youyisha are three green treasure islands that have been designated as a national green food production base by the Ministry of Agriculture. The “Qianchonglang” rice and “Lüshawang” watermelon produced here have obtained national green food certification. The city is utilizing the area’s unique environmental resources to plan and develop tens of thousands of acres of high-tech agricultural sightseeing zones, leisure tourism sightseeing zones, and riverside leisure tourism resort areas.

In terms of riverside ecological construction, they have established a green barrier along the river. A 50-meter-wide, 250-meter-long green protective belt has been created on the inner side of the river embankment, while wave-resistant forests have been planted on the outer tidal flats. Making full use of the unique riverside natural scenery and wetland resources, the development of the scenic forest park serves as the leading project to promote the construction of the scenic belt. Additionally, in conjunction with riverside eco-agriculture development and taking advantage of the high water quality and the strategically unique location of the estuary, plans are underway to develop leisure fishing activities along the river.
