The Grand Park of the Eastern Longevity Star is located in Rugao, a renowned international longevity hometown. Its history of longevity dates back 6,000 years, and Rugao’s longevity culture represents the essence of global life sciences. This park is a concentrated showcase of history, a collection of classics, and the most splendid presentation of longevity culture.

The location of the Grand Park of the Eastern Longevity Star in the western suburbs of Rugao is called Hezhuang, which got its name from a local place called Hozizhou (Crane Child Bay).

The people of Hezhuang have long benefited from the presence of the Great Longevity Star. Not only do they enjoy favorable weather and abundant harvests year after year, but they also maintain strong health and vitality. Many villagers live long lives. It’s common to see people living into their 80s, 90s are nothing unusual, and even those who reach 100 are still spirited. The park is covered with lush grass and trees, and every corner embodies the culture of longevity, with each scene revealing the secrets of a long life.

Major attractions in the Grand Park of the Eastern Longevity Star include: the Hundred Elders Thousand Jubilees Ten Thousand Longevity Chart, the Long Corridor of Historical Longevity Figures in Rugao, the Bronze Statue of the Eastern Longevity Star, and the Longevity Culture Corridor.

The park covers a total area of 1,000 mu, with 500 mu already developed. The main structure is the giant statue of the Eastern Longevity Star, standing 49 meters tall. It is currently the only massive longevity star sculpture in the East. As the saying goes, “Peace is blessing, health is longevity,” and “The Grand Buddha of Lingshan in the south blesses you with a lifetime of peace, while the Longevity Star of Rugao in the north watches over your century of long life.” This highlights just how significant its status truly is.
