Shanggang Cruise Terminal. Once the 160-year-old gateway of Shanghai’s docks, it was the economic and trade hub following the city's opening as a port. Today, it is a waterfront complex along the North Bund, boasting panoramic views of Shanghai’s skyline. With a 1200-meter dazzling riverside shoreline, you can take in the full view of the Huangpu River.

Here there is a cultural corridor glass wall that uses images and QR codes to showcase the stories of “Evolution of the Docks,” “Western Learning Spreading to the East,” and “Traces of Celebrities.” Not only can you enjoy the scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River, but you can also learn about the century-long history along the riverbanks.

The North Bund Riverside Green Space features three iconic landscapes: A Drop of Water, Rainbow Bridge, and Gate of Music, and is known as the “most beautiful riverside scenic walkway.”

Gazing across the river, you’ll see the brightly lit Lujiazui skyline. Coming here for a morning jog or stroll in early autumn is a great way to kick off an energetic day.
