Fuqiang Water Conservancy Scenic Area

The Fuqiang Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.

The Hulan Fuqiang Water Conservancy Scenic Area in Harbin is located within Hulan District of Harbin City. Built along the Hulan River, a tributary of the Songhua River, it is a natural river-lake type water conservancy scenic area, covering a planned area of 1.8 square kilometers.

The scenic area boasts broad river waters, lush vegetation along the banks, widespread wetland meadows, and a rich variety of wild birds and freshwater fish, with abundant aquatic resources. Swamps, wetlands, and riverbanks form a composite ecosystem. The area experiences distinct seasonal scenery changes, enjoys fresh air, and is rich in pristine natural beauty and an ecological atmosphere of harmony between humans and nature. The renowned literary talent Xiao Hong was born here. The scenic area is planned to become a new highlight of Harbin, the “Northern Water City.”
