The Huatian Wujimi Leisure Ski Tourism Resort is located 9 kilometers west of Shangzhi City. It is accessible via National Highway 301 and is 115 kilometers from Harbin. It is a ski-oriented natural scenic tourism area. Established in 1964, it is renowned as China’s famous “hometown of skiing.” The resort covers a total area of 22.33 square kilometers, with the core area being 5 square kilometers. It was among China’s first formal ski competition venues. It successfully hosted the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd National Skiing Competitions.

The Huatian Wujimi Leisure Ski Tourism Resort is a 3S-level ski resort in Heilongjiang Province. Wujimi Ski Resort boasts favorable natural conditions, situated on the northern slope of Sifangding Mountain, with a long skiing season and high-quality snow. The ski tourism area features three beginner, intermediate, and advanced ski runs, three tow ropes, and one aerial cable car, meeting the needs of skiers at all levels. The quality of the snow, the ski equipment, the snow entertainment programs, the snowmaking facilities, and the service amenities make Wujimi Ski Resort one of the best in China. The ski season here lasts from late November to the end of March of the following year, spanning approximately 150 days. The Korean Ethnic Culture Park offers visitors an exotic experience through the customs and traditions of the Korean ethnic group.

At the upper end of the ski resort lies Sifangding Mountain, also known as Zhuangyuan Mountain. On Zhuangyuan Mountain stands the ruins of the Zhuangyuan Tower, built in memory of Tugdani, the only top imperial scholar from Heilongjiang Province and a member of the Jurchen people. This serves as both a tribute to a literary figure and a commemoration and showcase of Confucian cultural history. The Wuji Palace Scenic Area: Wuji Palace is a Taoist sacred site from the Ming and Qing dynasties (originally the Sanqing Temple). From the Ming and Qing periods to around 1940, Wuji Palace was a flourishing Taoist sacred site. During the Anti-Japanese War, this Taoist temple was repurposed as a secret hospital for the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army. The Comprehensive Service Club: The first floor of the comprehensive club building houses a reception center, a front desk, an entertainment area, KTV private rooms, a bar, indoor recreational facilities such as table tennis, billiards, and video games.

By Bus: Take a bus from Harbin to Shangzhi City, then transfer to a minibus or taxi to Wujimi from Shangzhi.

By Car: Starting from Harbin, take the Suiman Expressway, drive 114.4 kilometers, exit at Wujimi, turn left onto the Hashang Line, drive 2.3 kilometers, turn left onto Y003 Road, drive 3.0 kilometers, then turn left and drive 630 meters to reach the destination.

Wujimi Township: Located nine kilometers southwest of Shangzhi City, it borders Wuchang City, Shangzhi Town, Mao’ershan Town, Changshou Township, Mayan Township, and Laojijie Township. The township covers an area of 543 square kilometers with a population of 26,000. The area is rich in forest resources and produces over 40 types of mountain products such as schisandra berries and mushrooms. High-quality rice is sold across the country. National Highway 301 and the Binsui Railway run parallel through the region. Fangzhuang Road intersects with various local roads, making transportation very convenient.
