Jinhe Bay Wetland Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.

　Jinhe Bay Wetland Botanical Garden is located 23 kilometers along Airport Road in Daoli District, Harbin, covering a planned area of 1,886 hectares. With picturesque scenery, it is conveniently situated near Taiping International Airport, offering easy access and stunning views. The area boasts abundant aquatic and natural ecological resources.

Jinhe Bay Wetland Botanical Garden is the only proposed nature reserve in the suburbs of Harbin and has been hailed by experts as the "green lung." The 247-hectare Taiping Lake, formed by 360 ancient springs, sparkles with clear blue waters and is home to dozens of species of wild fish and shrimp. In the peak of summer, large groups of swans, egrets, pheasants, and other birds inhabit the wetlands around Taiping Lake. In 2000, a new fish species introduced from Canada—the bigeye bass—has also thrived in the lake, breeding in pure green abundance and adding a new scenic highlight to this year’s Jinhe Park. The 230-hectare expanse of pristine grassland on the southern shore of the lake was once a horse grazing ground for Jin Wushu 800 years ago, while the 127-hectare northern shore features dense forests and lush green meadows, presenting a picturesque landscape.

Jinhe Bay Wetland Botanical Garden is a key tourism development project in both the “Ninth Five-Year Plan” of Harbin Municipal Government and the “Tenth Five-Year Plan” of Heilongjiang Provincial Government, and is now officially open to the public. Visitors can enjoy authentic Northeastern farmhouse cuisine here. The wild, pollution-free fish feast from Taiping Lake is widely renowned. Guests can also go boating, take in the beautiful lake and mountain views, participate in fishing competitions, and join romantic bonfire parties. Staying in lakeside villas offers a deeply tranquil, idyllic experience.

Jinhe Bay Wetland Botanical Garden is rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. In 2001, it was rated as a national “AA”-level tourist scenic area by the National Tourism Administration and designated as a “China Youth Quality Education Base” by the Communist Youth League Central Committee.

Location: The scenic area is situated on Jiangwan Road in Songbei District, between Yangmingtan Bridge and Sifangtai Bridge.

Public Transport: Take bus No. 13 (from Museum to Science and Technology Innovation City). After getting off at the terminal station, Jiangbei Science and Technology Innovation City, transfer to bus No. 13 (Jinhe Bay special line, which runs approximately every 20 minutes) to reach the scenic area.

Self-driving: From Songbei Avenue Roundabout, take Jiangwan Road and drive five kilometers forward to reach Jinhe Bay Wetland Botanical Garden.
