Jinhe Tourist Park is located 23 kilometers along the Airport Road in Daoli District, Harbin, covering a planned area of 1,886 hectares. With picturesque scenery, it is conveniently close to Taiping International Airport, offering easy access and stunning natural beauty. The park boasts abundant aquatic and natural ecological resources.

Jinhe Tourist Park is the only proposed nature reserve in the suburban area of Harbin and has been hailed by experts as the "green lung." The 247-hectare Taiping Lake, formed by 360 ancient springs, is dotted with rippling blue waters and teems with dozens of species of wild fish and shrimp. In the peak of summer, the wetlands around Taiping Lake become home to large flocks of swans, egrets, pheasants, and more. In 2000, a new fish species introduced from Canada—the largemouth bass—has also reproduced in pure, natural abundance in the lake, adding a new highlight to this year’s Jinhe Park. The 230-hectare expanse of pristine grassland on the southern shore of the lake was once a horse pasture for Jin Wushu 800 years ago, while the 127-hectare forested and lushly grassed northern shore presents a picture-perfect landscape.

Jinhe Tourist Area is a key tourism development project outlined in both the “Ninth Five-Year Plan” of the Harbin Municipal Government and the “Tenth Five-Year Plan” of the Heilongjiang Provincial Government, and it is now officially open to the public. Visitors here can enjoy authentic Northeastern farmhouse cuisine. The wild, pollution-free fish feasts from Taiping Lake are widely renowned. Guests can also go boating to take in the beautiful lake and mountain views, participate in fishing competitions, and join romantic bonfire parties. Jinhe Tourist Area is rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. In 2001, it was rated as a National “AA”-grade Tourist Scenic Area by the China National Tourism Administration and designated as a “China Youth Quality Education Base” by the Communist Youth League Central Committee.
