The first lilac-themed park — Qunli Lilac Park

Harbin’s Qunli Lilac Park, the city’s first lilac-themed park, covers an area of 400,000 square meters and is currently the city’s premier lilac park. The park boasts a rich variety of trees, including lilacs, birches, pagoda trees, and as many as 77 different species, with 32 types of lilac trees alone. The entire park adopts a comprehensive micro-terrain design with diverse planning techniques, featuring both hills and valleys as well as lakes and islands, fully showcasing the beauty of natural landscapes.

Located in the northeastern part of the Qunli New District, the park has three artificial lakes of varying sizes. Visitors can walk to the lake shores via boardwalks and pathways, a design that perfectly embodies the concept of a “cold-region water town” for the new district. To provide convenience for visitors, the park is equipped with leisure seating, and features a wide variety of trees planted at different heights, allowing people to enjoy a unique natural atmosphere during their visit.
