General Li Zhaolin’s Tomb

General Li Zhaolin’s Tomb is a cultural heritage protection unit of Heilongjiang Province.

General Li Zhaolin’s Tomb is located in Zhaolin Park, Harbin. It dates back to 1946 and is categorized as a modern-era important historical site and representative architecture.

On January 31, 2005, General Li Zhaolin’s Tomb was designated as part of the fifth batch of cultural heritage protection units in Heilongjiang Province.

Li Zhaolin (1910–1946), originally named Li Chaolan and also known by the alias Zhang Shoufa, was born on November 2, 1910, into a farming family in Xiaorongguantun, Huazi Township, Liaoyang County, Liaoning Province. In his youth, he attended primary school and a traditional private school. After his father’s death, due to financial hardship, he left school to work in agriculture.

After the September 18 Incident in 1931, Li Zhaolin persuaded his understanding mother, Yang Changqiu, and resolutely left his hometown to embark on the path of “killing the enemy, saving the nation, and reclaiming the homeland.” In November of the same year, he arrived in Beiping (now Beijing).
