Daqing Children's Park is a great place for leisure and recreation. Located at Youyi Street on Zhongqi Avenue in Saertu District, the park was established in 1981, covering an area of 230,000 square meters, including a lake area of 35,000 square meters. The entire park is divided into seven zones, featuring a total of 110 attractions, including 17 garden structures, 14 auxiliary buildings, 48 garden ornaments, 8 large amusement rides, 18 various artificial landscapes, and 5 systematic projects. At the park’s east entrance, there is a main entrance square spanning over 20,000 square meters. In the center of the square stands a circular fountain, facing a group of children-themed sculptures, flanked by flower beds and garden lights. At both ends of the park, there are independent classical garden areas built with stone embankments following the original terrain, forming a winding lotus pond. Around the pond are arranged square pavilions, corridors, and waterside pavilions. A winding bridge in the water connects to the central island pavilion, which is symmetrically positioned with the fan-shaped pavilions on both banks. The Spring Dawn Pavilion faces the Autumn Fragrance Pavilion across the water, while the Summer Radiance Pavilion echoes the Snow Pavilion.

Children's Park is currently the largest amusement-oriented park in Daqing. It offers 18 sets of large-scale amusement facilities suitable for children and teenagers, such as the overhead monorail train, self-controlled airplane, moon rocket, merry-go-round, dragon water play, high-altitude observation wheel, carousel, crazy mouse, spaceship, aerial bicycle, water bicycle, bumper cars, gliding wing, and space tower. Recently, a large open-air water park has also been completed, where visitors can swim and surf simultaneously.

The park’s advanced and comprehensive amusement facilities, along with its excellent services, have earned it deep affection from the people of Daqing, especially teenagers and children. Families often spend half a day or a full day there during holidays. People from other places also know about this wonderful spot in Daqing, and many have visited. In recent years, the park has welcomed three to four hundred thousand visitors annually.
