Daqing Radio and Television Tower is a cultural tourism attraction.

Daqing Radio and Television Tower is located at No. A1 Dongfeng Road, Saertu District, and is currently the tallest all-steel-structure radio and television tower in China.

The tower structure consists of tubular members, with the main body composed of 729 key components, forming a space truss structure connected by high-strength torsion-shear bolts. The tower foundation is a pile structure, using a total of 141 open-end steel piles with an average depth of 27 meters. The total weight is 2,600 tons. Floors three levels high are set between 147 and 259 meters on the tower, with a diameter of 20.6 meters. These floors house facilities such as a revolving dance hall, entertainment rooms, and outdoor observation decks for visitors to explore.

The radio and television transmission tower itself weighs 2,600 tons, with an outer diameter of the base circle reaching 60 meters. The overall height of the tower is 260 meters, including a 159-meter tower frame and a 101-meter antenna mast. The tower has a regular hexagonal shape, with an earthquake resistance rating of 7 and wind resistance of level 9. The top section of the tower features a four-story tower building located between 147 and 159 meters.

The corridor around the tower floor is 2.3 meters wide. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the oil city’s scenery, lean on the railing with the breeze in your face, and feel your worries melt away—leaving you refreshed and uplifted. The most beautiful sight is at night when the lights come on; you can admire the sea of lights and sparkling cityscape, a breathtaking scene of myriad glowing homes.
