Daqing Binzhou Lake

In 1975, Daqing City diverted water from the Nenjiang River into Binzhou Lake to serve as an irrigation reservoir for farmland, covering an area of 2.88 square kilometers with a shoreline of 6.16 kilometers. In 1996, to meet the overall development needs of the city, the water of Binzhou Lake was officially designated as a source of drinking water for residents.

Entering the 21st century, the surroundings of Binzhou Lake have undergone tremendous changes. Residential buildings and villas have been constructed along the eastern shore, while the southern bank features a leisure plaza for residents of Yanhu City, and the northern bank hosts a leisure plaza for the Hubin Teachers’ Garden.

Binzhou Lake covers an area of 2.88 square kilometers and is part of the Liming Lake water system. It lies south of Liming Lake and east of the Daqing East City Reservoir, making it one of the major lakes in the eastern urban area of Daqing. Connected to Liming Lake, Land Lake, and others via the Liming River, the lake is surrounded by villa complexes, including semi-detached villas, townhouses, courtyard villas, as well as numerous scenic residential buildings, low- and high-rise apartments, with a dense cluster of villas encircling the lake.

Transportation: Take a bus to Dongfeng Xincun within Daqing City, then transfer to a taxi to reach the destination.
