Stone Sea Adventure Scenic Area, featuring well-developed stone seas with pristine landscapes, offers visitors the chance to experience the thrilling, spectacular power and wonder of the stone sea. In spring, you can also admire the vast rhododendron sea stretching for dozens of kilometers. Hongxing Volcanic Geological Park, located in the Dapingtai Operation Area of the Hongxing Forestry Bureau in Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, covers an area of 20,188 hectares, and is located 160 kilometers from downtown Yichun and 88 kilometers from Hongxing District. Since the Late Carboniferous, Early Permian, and Late Permian periods, this area has experienced multiple episodes of volcanic activity and basalt eruptions, resulting in the unique geological landforms seen today.

Ancient volcanic rocks are covered with thick moss, and various ancient plants thrive among the rocks. Large areas of volcanic lava, the stone sea, and the surrounding diverse ecosystems provide an ideal habitat for a wide range of flora and fauna. The park is home to 47 species of national first- and second-class protected animals, such as red-crowned cranes and moose, as well as 511 types of plant species.
