Built upon the unique natural resources of pristine spruce and fir forests, cold-climate woodlands, and rocky cliffs, Daheideng Mountain Forest Park is a distinctive forest eco-tourism destination. It is divided into three scenic areas with 32 attractions: the Daheideng Mountain - Scenic Overlook Zone, the Black Dragon Pool Leisure & Resort Zone, and the Daheideng Mountain Ecological Garden Zone.

The park features lush forests, with major forest landscapes consisting of high-altitude steepland spruce and fir coniferous forests and mixed coniferous-broadleaf forests on gentle slopes. A 15-kilometer forest railway sightseeing line, 20 forest summer resort villas, and 5,000 meters of walking trails make it a vibrant urban ecological forest park.
