Mongolian Village

The Mongolian Village, located south of Huilong Bay and facing Donggao Terrace across the bay, consists of five ovoos. They are arranged in a well-spaced manner amidst lush green grass. A horse-drawn cart lies idle in front of the yurts, while several freely grazing cattle and sheep munch on knee-high wild grass. Wisps of smoke rise from the tops of the ovoos. From time to time, girls dressed in vibrant ethnic costumes carry fragrant dishes in and out of the yurts, presenting a vivid scene reminiscent of the descendants of Genghis Khan.

At this moment, the famous "Song of the Khitan" — "On the plains of Chilie beneath Yin Mountain, the sky is like a round tent covering all the land. The sky is vast, the wilderness boundless; when the wind blows low, flocks of sheep and cattle appear" — naturally comes to mind. The interiors of the ovoos are decorated in a distinctly ethnic style and serve as dining areas for visitors. Dishes such as smoked lamb leg, roasted beef treasure, hand-held lamb, and whole roasted lamb are not only delicious and authentic but also rich in flavor, sure to satisfy your taste buds.
