Xiaoxing'anling Stone Garden

The Xiaoxing'anling Stone Garden was established on May 1, 2002, covering an area of 3.6 hectares. It features eight scenic areas including a stone stele corridor and a stone pavilion.

The stone sculpture garden gate is made up of two carved stone pillars, each 0.8 meters in diameter and 6 meters high, featuring deep relief carvings that showcase the diverse flora and fauna of the Xiaoxing'anling region.

The central viewing area is divided into three art zones. The Ancient Calligraphy Art Zone displays a grand collection of calligraphy from the Qin Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, showcasing the long-standing tradition of Chinese calligraphy. The Modern and Contemporary Calligraphy Art Zone features works by renowned modern and contemporary calligraphers, including both national-level masters and provincial or municipal artists, making it the thematic highlight of the garden’s calligraphy collection. The Stele Calligraphy Art Zone includes 20 carved stone steles, presenting over 40 masterpieces of ancient and modern calligraphy and prose, highlighting the finest examples of calligraphic and literary art through the ages.

The Xiaoxing'anling Top Ten Scenic Spots Stone Carving Exhibition features ten carefully selected landscapes of Xiaoxing'anling, engraved on marble slabs and accompanied by poetic verses, combining visuals and text to bring the scenes vividly to life.

The Strange Stones Array displays 46 pieces of rocks including Taihu stones, Lingbi stones, and basalt, along with uniquely shaped rocks collected from the Xiaoxing'anling mountains, adding a distinctive charm to the garden.
