Yichun Forest Museum

Yichun Forest Museum is situated east of the Yichun Municipal Government, covering an area of 21,292 square meters, with a building area of about 10,800 square meters and an exhibition area of 5,300 square meters, including a 350-meter-long exhibition line. It was officially opened in early 2012. The museum was originally established as the Lesser Khingan Mountains Resources Museum in 1986. Built around the theme of the Lesser Khingan Mountains forest, Yichun Forest Museum utilizes physical objects, specimens, informational panels, scenic backdrop paintings, realistic dioramas, as well as modern multimedia and advanced technologies such as sound, light, and electricity, to create a specialized museum with distinctive features of northern forests.
