At an elevation of 721 meters, Eagle Mountain is situated at the southern foothills of the Lesser Khingan Mountains, by the Liangzi River, 35 kilometers northwest of Tangyuan County in Heilongjiang Province and 76 kilometers from Jiamusi City. It is a mountainous natural scenic tourism area. From a distance, the peaks resemble a soaring eagle with wings spread, ready to take flight. The area is surrounded by rolling mountains and crisscrossed by rivers.

The rugged bare rocks in the mountains speak of the bold spirit of the north, while the ink-wash-like landscapes showcase a delicate femininity. The rushing springs continuously nourish the ever-growing wildflowers and grasses. The peaks are striking, the rocks are peculiar, the trees are ancient, and the waters are enduring. It combines the exquisite beauty, danger, and charm of southern landscapes with the grandeur, openness, and wildness of northern scenery. A visit to Eagle Mountain offers both physical exercise and spiritual enrichment.

They say, “A mountain needs no deity to be famous.” Eagle Mountain has neither deities nor temples, and though it doesn’t rival the height of the Himalayas or compete with Huangshan for renown, it is born of primal nature—untouched and unspoiled. The steep cliffs, the clear springs, the dense forests, the lush green grass, and the white flowers of Eagle Mountain resemble a paradise on earth, inspiring longing, admiration, and a deep reluctance to leave.
