Tangyuan Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

Tangyuan Martyrs' Cemetery is located in the northeastern part of Tangyuan County. Tangyuan County is the birthplace of the first Party branch in the Xiajiang region, the site of the provisional provincial committee of the "Northern Manchuria" region, and a major base area of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army. Famous generals of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army such as Xia Yunjie and Dai Hongbin, along with a large number of revolutionary martyrs, sacrificed their lives here. To commemorate the fallen heroes, the cemetery was first built in 1960, covering an area of 50,000 square meters. It features a martyrs' memorial tower, a memorial hall, martyr monuments, a burial area, and a Korean People's Revolutionary Army (Anti-Japanese) cultural corridor. It is the resting place of notable martyrs including Xia Yunjie, commander of the 6th Army of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army, Chief of Staff Feng Zhigang, and Jin Zhengguo, political director of the 11th Army. The site includes 322 marked martyrs’ graves, 10 collective graves for unnamed martyrs, and the remains of over 300 unidentified martyrs. The cemetery is a provincial-level martyrs' memorial facility protection unit in Heilongjiang Province and also serves as a patriotic education base in the province.
