Ping'an Primitive Society Site

The Boli Ping'an Primitive Society Site is located in Ping'an Village, Woken Town, Boli County, and is surrounded by agricultural farmland. It dates back approximately 4,000 years.

The site covers a total area of 500,000 square meters and includes two sections: the South Sand Mound and the North Sand Mound. The surface layer is 11 centimeters thick, with layers beneath including a 23-centimeter-thick charcoal layer, an approximately 20-centimeter-thick blackish-gray mature soil layer, and red burnt earth reaching a depth of 110 centimeters. Artifacts unearthed at the site include hand-made pottery, stone tools, lead objects, and other stoneware.
