The ancient city site of Ma'anshan

The ancient city site of Ma'anshan in Boli is located in Ma'anshan Village, Changxing County, Boli County, 0.5 kilometers northwest, 2.5 kilometers southeast of Ma'anshan Mountain, 2 kilometers northeast of Dajia Mountain, and 0.5 kilometers southwest of Ma'anshan Village, bordering mountainous terrain to the northwest. The site was discovered in 1983 and was initially built during the Warring States period.

Covering a total area of 38,000 square meters, it consists of four mountain fortresses, each situated atop a small hill and arranged in front, back, left, and right positions. The outer city walls stand 9 meters high with an average thickness of about 1 meter. The outer city has a perimeter of approximately 300 meters, while the inner city is about 240 meters around. Artifacts unearthed at the site include stone mill rollers, pottery jars, and net sinkers.
