Boli Hongxing Forest Park is located 25 kilometers southwest of Boli County. It borders the Tongtian Second Forest Farm to the east, the Jixinghe Forest Farm to the north, the Chaoyang Forest Farm of Linkou County to the west, and the Northwest Leng Management Office of Linkou County to the south. The area enjoys a pleasant climate, with an average annual temperature of 2°C and annual precipitation of about 600 mm. The park is home to nearly 20 species of wildlife, including red deer, lynx, sable, hazel grouse, and forest frogs.

Boli Hongxing Forest Park lies within the Changbai Mountain Range at the northern end of the Laoye Ridge. The terrain is predominantly rugged high-mountain landform, with most slopes ranging between 15° and 28°. The total forested area spans 92,220 square meters, featuring higher elevations in the north and lower in the south, with an average altitude of 600 meters and a maximum elevation of 900 meters.

Established in 1958, Boli Hongxing Forest Park has an afforestation renewal area of 832 hectares, comprising 494 hectares of young forest, 88 hectares of middle-aged forest, 250 hectares of near-mature forest, and 8,020 hectares of natural mixed forest. Main harvesting methods include gradual cutting, clear-cutting, and selective cutting, while tending practices involve growth tending, thinning for light penetration, special timber tending, and shelterbelt tending. The park also systematically develops and utilizes mountain products such as wild vegetables, edible fungi, and medicinal plants. Based on the site conditions of the park, efforts are made to develop projects such as medicinal herbs, edible fungi, forest frog farming, and blue honeysuckle bases by utilizing forestland resources. This helps adjust the industrial structure and establish an economic model that coexists with timber production, deep timber processing, and various business forms.

Leveraging the natural advantages of Boli Hongxing Forest Park and integrating with the Xidaquan Nature Reserve, the park utilizes its existing 25 natural scenic spots to develop the Yecha Ridge and Tongtian Gully scenic areas. Facilities include a small ski resort, holiday villages, and multi-functional forest parks and garden-style forest communities such as a drifting area in the Ergongdui section. These attract large numbers of tourists for sightseeing and vacationing. Led by the resource advantages of the forest farm, the park attracts foreign investment and advanced technologies, enhancing benefits through timber processing. The blue honeysuckle base is being expanded, and a blue honeysuckle processing facility is under construction to produce blue honeysuckle fruit wine. The park sells berries externally, markets blue honeysuckle seedlings, processes wild vegetables, and expands sales channels.
