West Fort is located about 10 li west of East Fort, within the jurisdiction of Chunjing Village, Banshi Township. The site is surrounded by rice fields. The fort is oval in shape, built with “lime-soil mixture” rammed earth, and is about 3 meters high. It measures approximately 90 meters from east to west and 80 meters from north to south. There is a gun emplacement on the east, south, and west sides. The eastern and western emplacements are enclosed by earthen walls, which are about 60 meters in circumference and around 5 meters high. The southern emplacement no longer has earthen walls. Outside the fort is a protective moat about 9 meters wide. Approximately 100 meters to the west lies a square earthen wall enclosure measuring about 120 meters from north to south and 110 meters from east to west, which was the site where the Jingbian Army was stationed at the time.
