The Kulong Mountain Ruins are situated on the alluvial plain of the Tumen River on the eastern side of the southern end of the Gaoli Mountain Range in the eastern part of Qingrong Village, Liangshui Town, Tumen City. The unearthed relics mainly include pottery, stone tools, bone artifacts, porcelain, and architectural components. The cultural content and dating of the Kulong Mountain Ruins indicate that this area was a densely populated and economically prosperous settlement during the Bohai Kingdom and the Liao-Jin periods. It is an important cultural site for studying the primitive culture of the Tumen River region as well as the political, economic, and cultural aspects of the Bohai Kingdom and Liao-Jin periods, possessing significant unique historical and scientific value.
