Located in the middle section of Qingnian Street in Shenhe District, at the foot of Shenyang TV Tower, Shenyang Youth Park was first built in 1952, covering an area of 290,000 square meters, including 150,000 square meters of water surface.

Shenyang Youth Park was first built in 1952 and completed in 1958. The park now houses multiple unique small scenic areas. As you enter, the first sight to greet you is a large water-curtain fountain, followed by the Flower and Fish Corridor. To the south of the corridor lies an artificial hill; when its electrically controlled pumped water pipeline is activated, a 2.5-meter-wide waterfall cascades down from a 6.65-meter drop. In 1984, "Zhenxing Garden" was built on the lake island in the southeast part of the park, featuring replicas of landscapes such as snow-capped mountains, grasslands, the Dadu River, and iron-chain bridges that the Red Army crossed during the Long March.

Major attractions in the park include Guanrong Mountain and Chenchi Pool, along with scenes like Fragrant Grass Welcoming Spring, View from Guanrong Pavilion, Boating on the Lake, and Morning Exercise. The reconstructed Fangcao Garden in 1999 is home to over 200 freely roaming animals including deer, pigeons, pearl chickens, turkeys, monkeys, and birds in an aviary. In 2000, a 10,000-square-meter naturally flowing stream was renovated, and the Peace Bell gifted by Japan has become a favorite among visitors. The park’s plantings are arranged with distinct seasonal colors, layered and orderly, with various pruned trees uniquely shaped and vividly lifelike. The amusement area offers paddle boats, bumper cars, self-controlled airplanes, and children’s electric horses. It’s a serene and pleasant destination where visitors can sightsee, explore, and relax—making it a much-desired getaway. The park has welcomed nearly 1.5 million visitors. A visit here will surely leave you lingering and reluctant to leave.

Other facilities include a children's playground, an ice-skating rink, and a Great Wall ceramic tile mural. Shenyang Youth Park boasts novel attractions, a unique layout, lush trees, and blooming flowers.
